Water dilution test

Slow trail = pure

Tilt a glass surface and drop a small amount of milk on it. Pure milk slides slowly and leaves a clear white trail. Diluted milk flows fast and leaves almost no trace.

Takes 30 seconds — needs only a glass surface

Iodine test (starch)

No colour change = pure

Add 2–3 drops of iodine to a spoon of milk. If starch was added, the milk turns blue-black within seconds.

Takes about 1 minute — needs iodine tincture

Detergent / soap test

Minimal foam = pure

Shake milk vigorously in a clear bottle for 10 seconds. Pure milk forms little froth that disappears quickly. Soapy milk stays foamy.

Deficient quantity. No actin on reporting. 500 ml is annotated where as it was found 450 to 455 ml on measuring. Then they say weigh it. Why to weigh when claimed quantity is 500 ml ? The fact is 500 grams will always be less than 500 ml. Google it you will understand. Now imagine even 50 ml deficiency per pack will lead to how much illegal surplus and undue profits ? Despite this all, no action !!
