Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about our A2 Bilona Ghee — everything you need to know before you buy

What is Desi Cow Bilona Ghee?
Desi Cow Bilona Ghee is traditionally made by first converting Rathi & Sahiwal cow milk into curd, then churning the curd using the bilona method to obtain makkhan (butter), which is slowly heated to make ghee. It is a traditional curd-based process rather than a cream-based process.
Which milk is used to make this Desi Cow Bilona Ghee?
Our Desi Cow Bilona Ghee is made from 100% pure milk sourced from Rathi and Sahiwal desi cows.
Why is the colour and texture of the ghee sometimes different?
Ghee is a natural dairy product, so its colour, aroma and texture can vary slightly from batch to batch. Depending on temperature, it may appear grainy, creamy, semi-solid or completely liquid. These natural variations are normal.
Is this ghee made using the traditional Bilona method?
Yes. We follow the traditional milk → curd → makkhan → ghee process. The milk is first converted into curd, the curd is churned to extract makkhan, and the makkhan is then slowly heated to prepare ghee.
How should I store the ghee after opening?
Keep the jar tightly closed and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Always use a clean, dry spoon when taking out ghee to maintain its quality.
